Jean Michel Basquiat - Artist (aged 27)
Basquiat was a talented artist who had a troubled upbringing. He eventually lost his battle to stay sober and died of a heroin overdose on 12 Aug 1988. During his life he was an exciting and controversial artist challenging society. He was reference by numerous US rappers in their lyrics, appeared in a Blondie music video and collaborated with Andy Warhol who was stunned with his intellect and work.

Birmingham and Ecuador international Christian Benitez died on 29 July 2013 at the age of 27. Apparently he was rushed to hospital with severe stomach pains. Sad news - say hi to the guys for us - and much love to your family.
