US artist Elizabeth Peyton has recently had a her work displayed in a US institution for the first time.  Her subjects include James Dean, Marshall Mathers and Kurt Cobain. 

She has also created a piece of Michelle Obama that will only join the exhibition if Barack wins the Presidential election.  For more info visit the Luxist article here.
